About The Position
Aviata Health Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Weekend Supervisor at Aviata at Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Florida. The position manages staffing needs and supervises nursing staff who provide direct resident care, ensuring quality care on the assigned unit. The work schedule is Saturday and Sunday from 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN.
- At least one year of experience in nursing administration.
- Qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
Nice To Haves
- Three or more years of nursing experience is preferred in a setting serving the same age or type of resident population as the facility.
Responsibilities
- Manage staffing needs and supervise nursing staff providing direct resident care.
- Assist with staff development and guide Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants.
- Conduct and document complete data collection of each resident’s medical status upon admission and throughout treatment.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for assigned residents.
- Assist in recruiting and hiring nursing staff.
- Monitor compliance with resident record documentation requirements.
- Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
- Ensure compliance with resident rights policies.
- Complete Preceptor Training.
- Provide innovative, responsible healthcare by creating and implementing new ideas and concepts.
