About The Position

At Riverwalk Village, the Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor develops meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories. The role uses nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being and supports a comforting, engaging atmosphere. The supervisor promotes teamwork and respectful communication among nursing and facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive resident care. The position requires a current Indiana RN license, medication management skills, thorough assessments, accurate documentation, and a commitment to geriatric nursing and senior care excellence.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.

• Supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being through nursing care.
• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
