The RN Telephone Triage Nurse utilizes expert decision-making skills and clinical expertise in performing comprehensive telephone triage. This role ranks patients’ health problems according to their urgency, educating and advising patients and making safe, effective and appropriate dispositions.

Requirements

• Associate degree (or equivalent) in nursing.
• Two (2) years of acute care experience.
• Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) or an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act) [includes multistate compact licensure].

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing.
• Critical care, emergency center, home health, occupational health, or APRN experience.
