About The Position
The Registered Nurse will work in the float pool covering MedSurg, Tele, and PCU units, including inpatient holding in the ED. The RN will provide care for geriatric, ortho, post-MI, post-cardiac cath, and CABG patients, monitor tele and interpret strips, and titrate various drips.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a PCU setting
- BLS, ACLS
- Able to pass a dysrhythmia exam with a minimum score of 80%
- Comfortable with managing common titratable drips
Responsibilities
- Care for patients in MedSurg, Tele, and PCU settings
- Titrate drips such as Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin
- Interpret and monitor telemetry strips
- Remain flexible with scheduling across both campuses
