About The Position

The RN Staff CC maintains established standards of care, policies, objectives, and goals while administering professional nursing care to patients. The RN identifies patient needs and priorities through assessment, plans and delegates care based on patient needs, and evaluates patient responses and progress toward expected outcomes. The RN is accountable for patient-care outcomes during the assigned shift.

Requirements

• Graduate of a state school of nursing.
• Current Tennessee or multi-state nursing license.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing and frequently changing tasks.
• Complete department-specific competencies within the provisional period.

Nice To Haves

• Nursing experience is preferred; new graduates are accepted.
• ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification is required for critical care areas based on patient population.

Responsibilities
