About The Position

Coordinates and provides patient care using the nursing process as the foundation for clinical decision-making. Partners with patients and families to attain, maintain, and restore health whenever possible. Provides safe, quality care with caring, compassion, knowledge, and integrity while preserving patient autonomy, dignity, and rights. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• RN license.
• At least 2 years of experience.
• Must work weekend shifts as required.
• Must work 48 hours of special staffing time annually.
• Computer literacy.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates plans of care.
• Administers medications as prescribed.
• Provides health teaching and education to patients, families, and/or significant others.
• Participates in activities designed to improve health care delivery.
• Communicates and collaborates with others in providing patient care.
• Provides clinical leadership.
• Supports lifelong learning.
• Completes assigned goals.
