RN or LPN 2BCE Intermediate FT Days
About The Position
Seeking Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for the 2BCE Intermediate unit at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a full-time position (36 hours weekly) with day shifts (7 am-7 pm). The RN or LPN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge, functioning as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. The 2nd floor Intermediate Unit is a 34-bed unit specializing in Progressive Care (PCU) or intermediate nursing, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 4:1. The unit provides high-quality care to adult patients with complex medical needs and is composed of both experienced and new graduate nurses. The team works as an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient-centric care, fostering a reputation for teamwork, clinical expertise, and a supportive environment.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN or LPN license.
- BLS for healthcare provider required.
- ACLS for Healthcare provider required (obtained within 6 months of hire).
