About The Position

Seeking Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for the 2BCE Intermediate unit at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a part-time position with 24 hours weekly, working nights from 7pm to 7am. The role is benefit-eligible and offers a sign-on bonus for experienced applicants. Self-scheduling is available. In this role, the RN or LPN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. The 2nd floor Intermediate Unit is a 34-bed unit specializing in Progressive Care (PCU) or intermediate nursing, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 4:1. The team provides high-quality care to adult patients with complex medical needs. The unit is composed of both experienced and new graduate nurses who work as an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient-centric care. Requirements

Current Indiana or compact state RN or LPN license.
BLS for healthcare provider required.
ACLS for Healthcare provider required (obtained within 6 months of hire).
