About The Position
Seeking a Nursing Assistant for Baptist Health Floyd, 2BCE Intermediate. This is a part-time position (24 hours weekly) with day shifts (7 am-7 pm) and is benefit eligible. The Nursing Assistant functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse, providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks. The 2nd floor Intermediate Unit is a 34-bed unit specializing in Progressive Care (PCU) or intermediate nursing, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 4:1. The unit provides high-quality care to adult patients with complex medical needs and is composed of both experienced and new graduate nurses. The team works as an interdisciplinary group of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, patient-centric care, building a reputation for teamwork, clinical expertise, and a supportive environment.
Requirements
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
- High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide delegated aspects of patient care.
- Perform routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.
- Function as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse.
