About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - PT Days position plays a critical role in delivering compassionate and high-quality care to patients across various healthcare settings in the United States. Requirements
- Current and valid CNA certification in the State of Georgia.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as required by the employer.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- The CNA uses strong interpersonal and communication skills daily to build trust and rapport with patients, ensuring their needs and concerns are understood and addressed.
- Attention to detail is critical when monitoring vital signs and documenting patient information accurately to support clinical decision-making.
- Physical stamina and dexterity are essential for assisting patients with mobility and personal care tasks safely.
- Time management skills enable the CNA to prioritize duties effectively during shifts, especially when working PRN with variable hours.
- Familiarity with healthcare protocols and teamwork skills facilitate seamless collaboration with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working as a CNA in a hospital, long-term care, or outpatient setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including elderly and disabled individuals.

Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, and report any changes to nursing staff.
- Provide mobility assistance, including helping patients move safely within the facility and repositioning bedridden patients to prevent pressure ulcers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients by following infection control protocols and facility guidelines.
- Support nursing staff with routine clinical tasks and documentation to ensure accurate patient records and continuity of care.
