Wabanaki Public Health & Wellness (WPHW) is growing and seeking individuals who value inclusivity, balance, and cultural centeredness, with a passion for serving others. WPHW is a non-profit organization serving four federally recognized tribes across five communities in Maine. Our approach is guided by Wabanaki traditions, language, and culture, emphasizing harmony with each other and the land. Services are available to community members on and off-reservation throughout the State of Maine. Certified Nursing Assistants provide compassionate and culturally sensitive care to clients experiencing symptoms related to substance use withdrawal. This role supports clients through their recovery process, ensuring they feel comfortable, supported, and well-cared for during the detox process. CNAs collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team and clients through direct care, transitional support, service coordination, and referrals.
