About The Position

Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - Centennial as a Registered Nurse and be part of something better! Our Operating Room unit is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients. We foster an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member. The Operating Room patient population includes Orthopedics (Sports Medicine, Hand, Joint Replacement, Spine, Trauma), Colorectal, General, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Urology, ENT, Neuro (Brain and Spine), and Vascular. The department has a culturally diverse team, is understanding and supportive of management, and offers availability to train in multiple service lines and departments of Perioperative services. There is an opportunity for flexible scheduling and call, with regular services from outside product representatives.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
• 2 years of OR RN experience required.
• 2 Years of Experience

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Operating Room.
• Train in multiple service lines and departments of Perioperative services.
• Participate in flexible scheduling and call.
• Collaborate with outside product representatives.
