About The Position

Fairway View Neighborhoods Long Term Care seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct resident care. The role includes observing and assessing residents, administering medications and treatments, and documenting relevant information. The position is part time, with 48 hours per two-week pay period, working 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The job posting lists hourly pay ranges of $28.50–$36.17 for LPNs and $34.24–$51.35 for RNs.

Requirements

• Must be licensed, or eligible for licensure, in Minnesota as an RN or LPN.

Responsibilities

• Make regular rounds to observe residents’ conditions and vital signs, assess findings, plan nursing care, and record pertinent information.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed by a physician.
• Assist the physician during rounds when the Care Coordinator is absent to facilitate communication.
• Instruct residents about their treatments and medications to promote understanding and continuity of care.
• Provide necessary support to LPNs and CNAs so they can perform their work.
• Supervise the care LPNs and CNAs provide to residents.
• Serve as a role model for other nursing personnel.
