RN or LPN - Long Term Care - Nights - 12 hours shift

About The Position
A caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of primarily elderly patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members. Works both cooperatively and independently, to work efficiently under stress. Generous night shift differential of $5.50/hr.
Requirements
- Current Minnesota licensure as an RN or LPN.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) / CPR certification required within 6 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Organizing and providing care to residents through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Delegating aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
- Contributing to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
