About The Position

The RN Nursery provides direct care to neonatal patients. The role includes assessing patients, administering medications, carrying out provider orders, evaluating the effects of care, documenting care provided, and communicating with the care team. Care must adhere to hospital policies and accreditation standards. The position is full time (0.9) on the day shift at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, unencumbered North Carolina or compact-state RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Obtain NRP and STABLE certifications within 6 months.
• Obtain NCI certification and complete Team STEPPS training within 90 days.

Nice To Haves

• One year of clinical experience in the area of clinical specialty is preferred.
• New graduates who have completed an RN residency program are preferred.
