About The Position
Centurion Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead the nursing team at the Medical Intensive Infirmary (MII) at Johnson State Prison in Wrightsville, Georgia. The MII is a specialized unit caring for patients with complex and chronic medical conditions requiring advanced nursing care and interdisciplinary collaboration. This leadership role is for an experienced RN passionate about mentoring staff, ensuring clinical excellence, and delivering high-quality patient care in a structured healthcare environment. The role involves managing patients requiring advanced nursing care, including IV therapy, PICC lines, central venous lines (TLC), tracheostomy care, enteral feeding (G-tubes), wound care, and chronic disease management. The environment is structured with established policies, security support, and collaborative leadership.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse OR Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current PPD documentation for tuberculosis screening.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification.
- Ability to pass a drug screen, criminal background investigation, and obtain facility security clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory or charge nurse experience.
- Correctional healthcare experience.
- Wound Care experience and current Wound Care Certification.
- Experience managing complex patient care, including IV therapy, PICC lines, central lines (TLC), tracheostomies, and feeding tubes.
