About The Position

Responsible for managing the clinical, operational, and financial activities within the department. Works collaboratively with physicians, clinical departments, nursing, management, and other stakeholders to ensure timely patient access to care, operational efficiency, department productivity, fiscal integrity and patient satisfaction. Primary responsibilities include human resources management, practice business development, daily operational efficiency, effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.

  • Oversees the development, implementation, and management of annual operating, capital, and staffing budgets.
  • Leads the performance management process by conducting timely introductory and annual evaluations.
  • Actively participates in strategic talent decisions, including recruitment and separation.
  • Provides ongoing clinical and behavioral coaching to support staff excellence.
  • Identifies and promotes professional development opportunities.
  • Applies progressive disciplinary practices consistently and equitably.
  • Cultivates a staff-driven experience that prioritizes exceptional service for patients, physicians, colleagues, the community.
  • Consistently evaluates the patient experience and implements focused action plans to enhance satisfaction.
