Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-Time, Days
About The Position
Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is hiring a Registered Nurse for its inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Chester, New Jersey. The hospital provides care for individuals facing medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges related to brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. The nurse works each shift with a Nursing Assistant and manages a described manageable caseload, helping patients achieve goals and milestones in their individualized care plans. The position is full-time, scheduled for days from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and includes weekday and weekend shifts. Compensation is $46.00 to $61.93 per hour based on experience, plus shift differential. Requirements
- Valid state RN license.
- BLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities
- Receive admissions and/or transfers.
- Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
- Document patient care accurately and on time using EPIC.
- Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
- Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
- Promote continuous quality improvement.
- Instruct and counsel patients and families.
- Partner with a Nursing Assistant during each shift to help patients achieve the goals and milestones in their individualized care plans.
