Registered Nurse (RN) Full Time Days
About The Position
AMG Specialty Hospital - North Mississippi is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care in a long-term acute care setting. The RN communicates with physicians, the CCO, and coworkers about changes in patients’ clinical conditions, including diagnostic study results and symptoms, and responds promptly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. The RN may also perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. This position is based at the hospital in Batesville, Mississippi, and is for day shifts. Weekend shifts receive shift differentials.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Mississippi.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in a long-term acute care setting.
- Communicate changes in patients’ clinical conditions, diagnostic study results, and symptoms to physicians, the CCO, and coworkers as appropriate.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patients’ conditions or responses to treatment.
- Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
