About The Position
Community is seeking a skilled Neuroscience Registered Nurse to join its downtown Fresno campus team in a 52-bed unit. The nurse will work closely with neurosurgeons and specialized Neurohospitalists across areas including trauma, epilepsy, intracranial aneurysm, tumors, multiple sclerosis, and spinal injury. The role offers opportunities to develop clinical skills and receive educational training to pursue additional neuroscience certifications, such as SCRN, CNRN, PCCN, and MSRN. Requirements
- High school diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or completion of a CHS-approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate.
- Consistent demonstration of competent clinical nursing practice proficiency.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to work within the state of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Responsibilities
- Provide competent clinical nursing care in a neuroscience unit.
- Work closely with neurosurgeons and specialized Neurohospitalists in neuroscience care areas, including trauma, epilepsy, intracranial aneurysm, tumors, multiple sclerosis, and spinal injury.
- Develop nursing skills through educational training and pursue additional neuroscience certifications.
