About The Position

QLI is seeking compassionate nurses to provide the best care for residents recovering from spinal cord or traumatic brain injuries. We are the nation’s leader in providing a comprehensive approach to the therapeutic process for individuals with these injuries. We offer an extensive orientation and mentoring program, especially for new graduates, to ensure success. Requirements

  • Current RN license to practice in Nebraska (required)
  • Current CPR certification (required)
  • Annual flu vaccine is required during flu season.
  • Must not have any condition or limitation that could pose a direct threat to self or others unless such threat can be eliminated by a reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to pass a fitness assessment designated for this job title and perform all physical activities related to the position.

Nice To Haves

  • No previous experience required
  • For newly graduating nurses, we will hire and train prior to you actually receiving your license!
  • Experience in dermatology, oncology, hospital setting, or clinic setting.
  • Experience starting as a C.N.A. and earning a nursing degree or APRN degree.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for residents recovering from spinal cord or traumatic brain injuries.
  • Develop therapeutic plans for individual residents.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Build relationships with residents and their families.
  • Adapt to resident needs and contribute to their recovery.
  • Ask questions to ensure the best care is provided.
  • Participate in an extensive orientation and mentoring process.
  • Maintain regular attendance in assigned role.
