RN/LPN Pediatric Home Care
About The Position
Home Heart Florida is looking for a compassionate nurse to provide one-on-one care for a pediatric patient in the home. We thoughtfully match nurses with families based on clinical experience, personality, location, and schedule. This role offers the opportunity for one-on-one care, allowing you to focus on one patient and build a meaningful relationship with the family. You will be supported by a nurse-led clinical team and benefit from a simple onboarding process. Consistent scheduling is available, depending on the patient's needs, which may include days, nights, weekends, or overnight care. Additionally, RNs with 1 year of Pediatric and Home Care Experience can ask about an opportunity to provide RN education to a family for an increased rate.
Requirements
- Active Florida RN or LPN license
- BLS certification
- Experience with the clinical skills listed above, when required for the case
- Dependable, communicative, and comfortable working independently in the home
- Reliable transportation

- 1 year of Home Care Experience
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care according to the patient's plan of care
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor and document changes in patient condition
- Provide feeding, respiratory, and other case-specific care as applicable
- Communicate with the family and clinical team
