About The Position

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse works within the organization’s policies and procedures, demonstrates professional growth and accountability, maintains standards of practice, and coordinates assigned staff’s patient-care activities to provide quality nursing care. This position is for inpatient rehabilitation on nights at Piedmont Macon Medical. A sign-on bonus is available.

Requirements

Graduate of a nursing program; new graduates are eligible.
Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Advanced certification in the field of specialty, if applicable.
Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
For PRN positions, one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is required.
