About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN ICU to join our team at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD. This is a 13-week contract position requiring a 36-hour work week with a day/night rotator schedule. The role involves providing direct nursing care to critically ill patients, continuous hemodynamic monitoring, titrating therapies, responding to acute deterioration, and collaborating with the critical care team. The start date is ASAP, contingent upon credentialing and onboarding, which typically takes 6-8 weeks. Any state license is accepted, and current BLS and ACLS certifications are required. A BSN, ADN, or Nursing Diploma from an accredited program is necessary, along with a passed NCLEX. We require 2-3 years of current critical care experience in an acute care hospital setting. Preferred skills include critical care monitoring, vasoactive drip management, ventilator-adjacent care, and CCRN certification.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of CURRENT critical care experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross)
• ACLS required
• BSN, ADN, or Nursing Diploma from an accredited program
• Passed NCLEX
• Any state license works (current, active, unrestricted)
