About The Position

The RN House Supervisor provides administrative supervision of nursing services during the assigned shift and supervises and coordinates nursing personnel to maintain continuity of patient care. The role also provides professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit and integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice. This is a full-time night position in Jacksonville, Florida, at Duval Regional Rehabilitation Hospital at Jacksonville, a 48-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital.

Requirements

Current state Registered Nurse license.
Current CPR certification.
At least one year of recent experience.
Knowledge of and adherence to current nursing theory and practice, infection control, and wound care standards of practice.
Knowledge of accreditation standards and ability to ensure adherence to standards established by state and accrediting agencies, including TJC and CMS.
Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures, and use of appropriate policies, procedures, and guidelines in patient care.
Critical thinking skills.
General computer skills, including data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
Effective organizational and time management skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.

Nice To Haves

Acute care setting experience preferred.
ACLS certification preferred.
