About The Position

As an RN House Supervisor, you will provide clinical and operational leadership across the facility, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care while supporting nursing teams, physicians, and interdisciplinary partners. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about mentoring teams, managing hospital-wide operations, and driving clinical excellence in a growing healthcare setting.

Requirements

Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) required or relevant experience.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
5-7 years of relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

Clinical Specialty Professional Certification preferred.
Previous leadership experience preferred.
Critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative and clinical oversight for hospital operations during assigned shifts.
Serve as a resource and leader for nursing staff, physicians, and ancillary departments.
Coordinate patient flow, staffing, resource allocation, and throughput initiatives.
Support quality, safety, and regulatory compliance standards across the hospital.
Respond to critical situations, facilitate problem resolution, and ensure continuity of care.
Foster a collaborative and patient-centered culture that aligns with IU Health's mission and values.
Assist with coaching, mentoring, and supporting nursing team members.
