About The Position
Join Emplify Health by Gundersen as a Casual Surgery RN in Hillsboro, providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients in a surgical setting. The role involves assessing, planning, intervening, documenting, and evaluating care in collaboration with patients, families, and the care team. The RN supports safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment where clinical judgment and teamwork are important. This position is casual, with 0 scheduled weekly hours. The hourly wage range is $35.52 to $55.57, based on years of experience, and casual incentive pay is offered. No benefits are offered, and weekend or holiday coverage is not needed. Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Six months or more of previous nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with patients, families, and health care professionals to develop a patient-centered plan of care.
- Provide competent and innovative patient care and education based on patient complexity, acuity, and nursing judgment.
- Document nursing assessment, planning, interventions, implementation, and patient or family response.
- Evaluate patient progress and revise the plan of care as needed.
- Accept accountability, seek feedback, clarify concerns, and work toward resolving problems or conflicts.
- Practice in alignment with the Gundersen Health System mission, values, strategic plan, and Nursing Professional Framework.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment.
- Personally interact with, engage with, and care for patients.
- Ensure patient safety.
