About The Position

The Staff RN provides quality patient care and assesses patients’ clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs. The role requires sound nursing knowledge, attention to safety when moving patients, and the ability to work effectively in stressful situations. The nurse may be required to assume charge nurse duties.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• BLS certification is required or must be obtained within three months of hire.
• Thorough knowledge of nursing principles.
• Ability to function well in stressful situations and use creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to prioritize and delegate.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hospital RN experience is preferred.
