RN Hospice
About The Position
The RN Hospice provides coordination of care, continuously assesses the needs of patients and their families, and implements the interdisciplinary care plan. The nurse performs services in accordance with physician orders and the established plan of care, ensuring that care delivery complies with federal and state regulations. This role requires graduation from an approved school of clinical education, an active license in the state of practice, at least one year of experience as a licensed professional, and basic technology skills, including use of a mobile device. Medicare home health or hospice experience is preferred. A valid driver license, automobile liability insurance, dependable transportation, the ability to drive safely in all weather conditions, and healthcare provider CPR certification are also required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of clinical education.
- Licensed in the state where the employee practices.
- At least one year of experience as a licensed professional.
- Basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
- Valid state driver license.
- Maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law.
- Maintain dependable transportation in good working condition.
- Ability to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
- Healthcare provider CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- Medicare home health or hospice experience.
- Experience as a licensed professional may be deferred with review and approval from regional and executive service line clinical leadership.
