About The Position

The Hospice RN provides coordination of care, continuously assesses the needs of patients and families, and implements the interdisciplinary care plan. The nurse performs services according to physician orders and the established plan of care, ensuring that care complies with federal and state regulations. The position requires a graduate of an approved school of clinical education, a license in the state of practice, at least one year of experience as a licensed professional, basic technology skills including use of a mobile device, a valid state driver's license, automobile liability insurance, dependable transportation, the ability to drive safely in varied weather, and CPR certification for healthcare providers. Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of clinical education.
• Licensed in the state where the employee practices.
• At least one year of experience as a licensed professional.
• Basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law.
• Maintain dependable transportation in good working condition.
• Able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
• CPR certification for the healthcare provider.

Nice To Haves

• Medicare home health or hospice experience is preferred.
• Experience as a licensed professional may be deferred with review and approval from regional and executive service line clinical leadership.
