About The Position
Benedictine is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Float to join its compassionate care team and support residents and associates across multiple facilities. The RN Float travels within a designated Benedictine region as needed, providing resident care and partnering with the team to uphold the organization’s reputation for caring for residents and their loved ones. Benedictine and its Ministry partners are a not-for-profit senior care organization founded by the Sisters of St. Scholastica. Its work is guided by the core values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect, and Justice. The organization describes its culture as comforting and empowering, with a focus on helping residents and team members grow and succeed.
Requirements
- Hold current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
- Possess the organizational skills required to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an appropriate plan of care based on assessment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of medications and their correct administration.
- Travel and provide care within a designated Benedictine region as required or needed.
