About The Position

The clinical nurse, under the ANA scope of practice utilizes the framework of the nursing process to provide professional nursing care by incorporating patient-family centered care principles. The Clinical Nurse provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader according to policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or equivalent Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate’s degree or equivalent
• B.S.N., or M.S.N, or DNP/PhD - if not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years, required. This is effective April 18, 2023.
• Registered Nurse (RN) - State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• At least one Certification from preferred list - Unknown Unknown Upon Hire required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Red Cross Upon Hire required Or At least one Certification from preferred list - Unknown Unknown Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation Upon Hire required
• Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association Upon Hire required
• Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association Critical Care, Emergency Care, Pre-Op and PACU, Radiology 180 Days required
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - Emergency Nurses Association Emergency Care 1 Year required
