HI - RN Flex Pool - Days (11/2)
About The Position
This is a Flex RN position that floats between various medical and surgical units. The position requires 12-hour shifts on Days (0645 to 1915), with 36 hours scheduled per week after the first week of orientation. There is no guarantee of hours. The units utilize Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes. The Medical unit has 77 beds, Laulima (surgical Acute) has 18 beds, and the Cardiovascular Unit has 15 beds. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:6 for days and evenings on the Medical unit, 1:8 for nights, 1:6 on Laulima, and 1:4 on the Cardiovascular Unit. Ratios may vary due to unexpected leaves. The dress code is professional nursing attire with clean scrubs.
Requirements
- Active State of HI license required by start of assignment.
- 2-10 years of experience.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- PALS certification.
- Procedural Sedation certification.
- TNCC certification.
- ENPC certification.
Responsibilities
