About The Position

This is a Flex RN position that floats between various medical and surgical units. The assignment is for 12-hour night shifts (1845 to 0715), with a scheduled 36 hours per week after the first week of orientation. There is no guarantee of hours. Candidates must possess an active State of Hawaii RN license by the start of the assignment. Medical and religious exemption requests will not be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity.

Requirements

• Active State of Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment.
• 2-10 years of experience.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes.
• Ability to float to Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and Cardiovascular Unit.
• Must have documented proof of immunity (medical and religious exemptions not accepted).

Nice To Haves

• PALS certification
• Procedural Sedation certification
• TNCC certification
• ENPC certification

Responsibilities

• Float between various medical and surgical units.
