About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Flex Pool, working night shifts. Candidates must possess an active Hawaii State RN license by the start of the assignment. Medical and religious exemptions will not be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity. The nurse will float between various medical and surgical units. Orientation time will be provided for each unit.

Requirements

• Active State of Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment.
• 2-10 years of experience.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• PALS certification
• Procedural Sedation certification
• TNCC certification
• ENPC certification

Responsibilities

• Float between various medical and surgical units.
• Provide nursing care on Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions).
• Administer patient care according to professional nursing standards.
• Utilize Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes.
• Adhere to professional nursing attire - clean scrubs.
