About The Position
The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse works within the organization’s policies and procedures and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse maintains standards of practice and coordinates the patient care activities of assigned staff to provide quality nursing care.
Requirements
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
- New graduates of a nursing program are eligible.
- Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- One year of experience in a hospital setting is preferred for PRN positions.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Advanced certification in the field of specialty, if applicable.
