About The Position
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Support Tech for its Interventional Services department at Edgewood Hospital. The Support Tech provides direct and indirect patient care supporting the cardiovascular imaging and interventional services departments, as directed by Registered Cardiac, Vascular, or Cardiovascular Technicians. Support duties may include facilitating patient safety and providing environmental support. The role requires treating patients, families, visitors, and coworkers with respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy, regardless of cultural background.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- BLS certification.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and interdependently and set priorities.
- Ability to accept and adapt to change.
- Successful work employment history.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care to support cardiovascular imaging and interventional services departments.
- Carry out duties as directed by Registered Cardiac, Vascular, or Cardiovascular Technicians.
- Facilitate patient safety and provide environmental support as needed.
- Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in interactions with patients, families, visitors, and employees.
