About The Position

Performs highly specialized hemodynamic monitoring procedures and assists physicians during procedures. Works with patients from adolescence through geriatrics. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period and performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• AHA BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Formal cardiovascular technology training.
• One year of health care or cardiac catheterization laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing personnel with emergency procedures.
• Maintain equipment and perform quality control.
• Clean and package instruments and supplies for sterilization.
• Assume the role of monitor technician as needed.
• Assist physicians during procedures and perform specialized hemodynamic monitoring.
