About The Position

Performs highly specialized hemodynamic monitoring procedures and assists physicians during procedures. Works with patients from adolescents to geriatrics. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period and performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One year of health care experience.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within 12 months of hire into the position.

Nice To Haves

• Formal cardiovascular technology training.
• One year of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab.

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing personnel with emergency procedures.
• Maintains equipment and performs quality control.
• Cleans and packages instruments and supplies for sterilization.
• Assumes the role of monitor technician as needed.
• Performs related duties as required.
