About The Position
Performs highly specialized hemodynamic monitoring procedures and assists the physician during procedures. Works with patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period and performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Formal cardiovascular technology training.
- One year of health care or cardiac cath lab experience.
Responsibilities
- Assists nursing personnel with emergency procedures.
- Maintains equipment and performs quality control.
- Cleans and packages instruments and supplies for sterilization.
- Assumes the role of monitor tech as needed.
