About The Position
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Support Tech for its Interventional Services department at Edgewood Hospital. The Support Tech provides direct and indirect patient care in support of the cardiovascular imaging and interventional services departments, as directed by Registered Cardiac, Vascular, or Cardiovascular Technicians. Support responsibilities may include facilitating patient safety and providing environmental support. The role requires enrollment in a radiology program and an approach to every encounter that demonstrates respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy toward patients, families, visitors, and employees, regardless of cultural background.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a radiology program.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- BLS certification.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and interdependently, and to set priorities.
- Ability to accept and adapt to change.
- Successful work employment history.
