RN Coordinator - Pediatric Endocrinology
About The Position
The RN Program Coordinator at ProMedica is the point person for coordinating collaborative care from hospital discharge through follow-up. The coordinator facilitates patients’ plans of care, provides education and instructions for procedures and testing ordered by providers, and reviews patients’ Health Risk Assessments. The role includes monitoring patient charts for test results and reviewing results with providers and patients, as well as reviewing and managing preoperative surgical clearance requests with providers when needed. The coordinator may also triage patient calls and provide health advice and referrals as appropriate. The duties described are general in nature and are not exhaustive.
Requirements
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
- One year of relatable or equivalent experience.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- EPIC experience.
- Two or more years of relatable experience.
