About The Position

Independently plans and provides professional nursing care for patients in accordance with physician orders, established outpatient and departmental policies and procedures, American Nurses Association Standards of Clinical Practice, the Nurse Practice Act in the respective working state, and the ANA Code of Ethics.

Requirements

• Graduate of a School of Nursing.
• Complete hospital General Orientation, Patient Care Orientation, and PPG office-specific orientation as provided and required.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Sufficient previous clinical experience during training in the area of assignment; additional experience may be required depending on area of practice.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with 100 pounds; lifting requirements may be heavier for specified departments.
