About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinical Nurse Educator for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY. This role focuses on Labor & Delivery, NICU, Mother-Baby / Postpartum, and Pediatrics. The position involves providing on-the-floor clinical education, competency validation, and staff development across Maternal-Child Health (MCH) units. The educator will serve as the primary educational resource for Labor & Delivery, covering obstetric protocols, emergency drills, and evidence-based practice updates. A key responsibility is assessing clinical knowledge gaps and ensuring compliance with NYS DOH and Joint Commission standards. The role also requires collaboration with nurse managers and leadership to support educational workflows and support interdisciplinary teams to maintain clinical readiness and improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of strong Labor & Delivery clinical experience required
- Experience as Clinical Nurse Educator, Unit Preceptor, or Clinical Instructor in acute care maternal-child setting required
- BSN required
- Active, unrestricted RN license in the State of New York
- BLS Certification required
- Strong communication and adaptability skills in fast-paced clinical environments
