About The Position

The Program Clinic Nurse will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a behavioral health program. This includes engaging the community through educational presentations and contributing to program development and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice - required.
• Graduation from a state-approved school of nursing - required.
• Associate's degree or above - required.

Nice To Haves

• Psychiatric Nursing experience – preferred.
• Passion for working with Older Adults - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a small, interdisciplinary team (psychiatric physician, social worker, CNA) to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients enrolled in the behavioral health program.
• Engage your local community to develop and deliver educational presentations, workshops, and seminars to promote understanding and awareness of mental health issues and inform of the resources PMC can provide.
• Contribute to the enhancement of the behavioral health program by providing insights and feedback on patient care processes, program development, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment strategies, and community outreach efforts.
