RN, 32 hours/week - Endoscopy
About The Position
Winchester Hospital is a 223-bed regional hospital and a five-time Magnet-designated hospital serving the northwest suburban Boston area. The Registered Nurse will join the Endoscopy Team and provide patient care, including assessments, medications and treatments, monitoring patient progress, and evaluating therapeutic outcomes. The role works collaboratively with physicians and other medical professionals to develop patient care plans and supports and educates patients and their loved ones. The position is scheduled for 32 hours per week on the day shift, with an on-call requirement at Winchester Hospital and 10P Commerce Way in Woburn, Massachusetts. Beth Israel Lahey Health requires staff to be vaccinated against influenza as a condition of employment.
Requirements
- Graduate of a state-approved and/or accredited Registered Nurse program.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Staff must be vaccinated against influenza as a condition of employment.
Nice To Haves
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is strongly encouraged.
- Work experience in the unit-specific specialty is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete patient assessments; administer medications and treatments; observe patient progress; and evaluate therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient.
- Support and educate patients and their loved ones to help achieve maximum outcomes.
