About The Position

UW Health is seeking an RN Clinic Manager for the Rockford Eye Clinic. The role directs and evaluates the department’s workforce, including staff scheduling and performance; prepares operating budgets with volume projections, expenses, and revenue estimates; and uses data and metrics to lead day-to-day clinical operations and coordinate patient care services in an ambulatory setting. The position is based at 7019 Rote Rd, Rockford, Illinois. It is a 1.0 FTE role with a usual schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; hours may vary based on departmental operational needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Two years of healthcare operations supervisory/management experience or three years of progressive relevant leadership experience.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state(s) where patients are receiving care, or eligibility to work under applicable state licensing regulations.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN), Healthcare Management, Business, or a related healthcare field.
• Five years of progressive, relevant supervisory/management experience.
• Previous clinic/healthcare management experience.
• Applicable clinical certification.
