RN Charge Nurse PRN Days Inpatient Surgical GI GU
About The Position
The RN Charge Nurse PRN Days position is located at Texas Health Fort Worth, on the BU GI GU Surgical Unit. This unit is a 36-bed surgical unit caring for colorectal, gastrointestinal, and urology surgery patients. The unit will initially open with 20 beds and expand to 36 beds later in the year. Patients admitted may be pre- or post-operative, with an average length of stay of approximately five days. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care through nursing education, research, and innovations in practice, within a supportive, team environment with outstanding opportunities for growth.
Requirements
- 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
- RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
- A high degree of confidentiality
- Positive interpersonal skills
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- 2 Years Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing
