About The Position

Camber Children's Mental Health is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) to join their caring, multidisciplinary team at their Wichita, KS location. This role involves providing direct patient care, leading and mentoring staff, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for children and adolescents receiving mental health treatment. The position requires a compassionate nursing professional dedicated to helping children heal and thrive.

Requirements

• Associates degree in nursing required
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas
• At least 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience or ANCC certification in psychiatric nursing
• Must be at least 20 years old to apply
• Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate patient care activities on your assigned shift
• Lead and mentor licensed and non-licensed nursing staff
• Participate in staff development and performance evaluation
• Provide direct, compassionate care to children and adolescents
• Represent management and administration in their absence
• Monitor program safety and lead crisis response as needed

• Starting Pay: $35 per hour, based on experience and education
• $2,500 Sign-On Bonus paid in four installments during your first year
