About The Position

Join INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as a full-time night-shift Staff Registered Nurse in Baptist Oncology Med Surg. The Staff Registered Nurse manages the delivery and documentation of patient care, including assessment and reassessment, development of the plan of care, implementation of appropriate interventions, and evaluation of those interventions. The nurse supervises and coordinates other licensed and non-licensed personnel as assigned and provides guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate. This position reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. The role may involve additional or varied physical demands and/or respiratory fit-test requirements. The description notes potential exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals; standard precautions must be followed. Requirements

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Oklahoma or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Manage the delivery and documentation of patient care.
Assess and reassess patients.
Develop the plan of care.
Implement appropriate patient care interventions.
Evaluate patient care interventions.
Supervise and coordinate other licensed and non-licensed personnel in providing care to patients, as assigned.
Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate.
Follow standard precautions.
